Comforting and cosy spot with live jazz. Food is amazing, very savoury and flavorful and wines are great. Is a staple for me. I tend to go slightly before prime time dinner time so it's not too busy. It's actually a decent sized space with a good amount of seats but can get very packed later in the night and feel very crowded with the lower ceilings. Dark, moody, classy, vintage.

Amazing food. Excellent service. A great value. The food is something that excites the tastebuds! Anything I say wouldn't do this incredible food justice. Try it for yourself!

My family and I stumbled into this restaurant as we were walking around looking for a nice cocktail bar. We heard a woman singing a piano playing and we couldn't help but go in to check it out. Wow what a pleasant surprise, the singer Timatha was amazing and such a please to talk to. The bartender was no amateur either, his cocktails were top notch. We came in for one drink and ended up staying for hours listening to beautiful music, wonderful drinks and delicious food. This is my new favorite spot and I can't wait to come back. 10/10. Hidden gem. Thank you Timatha for some amazing entertainment and a fantastic evening.

Good option with solid food and service if you're getting a show nearby. We were super early for our reservation but were seated and brought out drinks right away. Everyone enjoyed their food. I got the ratatouille which was flavorful and very light. Friend got the French onion burger which they enjoyed. It was a bit slow to get the check once we finished. But overall a really good post/pre theater option.

Went here for this years Valentine's Day dinner. $95 for a three course prix fixe meal and I got Seafood crepe, lamb shank, and pair and almond dessert thing. The inside felt so homey and cozy. Coming in from the bustle of the city, it felt so nice to get to eat in a nice but not too modern of a decor to relax and enjoy the delicious food. There's a coat check and a little bar area and the rest is the dining area. At 8pm I got to hear some of the live music which was very nice!! And they weren't too loud to enjoy conversation with my partner. The food. I can still taste the seafood crepe with the béchamel sauce. It was a perfect texture/flavor/amount of seafood. Lamb shank fell off the bone and with that sauce I thought I could eat 5 more of those. The dessert I got ended up being pretty refreshing with half a pair in the bowl and I kinda liked it. Overall it was a great experience. With it being the Valentine's Day, the service seemed busy but i had a great time being there.

$70 after theater price fixe dinner! We had a 2pm early show with 5pm reservations. I look at my watch, 4:35?? Take your bows, I have reservations! An easy walk to 46th st, Le Rivage is located on NYC's fabled Restaurant Row. Once inside, Le Rivage is a dark & cozy restaurant. I pulled out the small table for my wife and we settled in. The menu choices are very ooh la la, lots of French specialties being offered. I bought into the hype and ordered the French Onion Soup burger. On the menu it states this burger is the NYCWFF Burger Bash Winner. I did enjoy the large English muffin topped with a few creamy cheeses (bechamel & emmental cheese) and the same French Onion Soup sweet onions. It sounds like a killer combination and worthy of the NYCWFF Burger Bash Winner. Except I didn't get that burger. The meat patty wasn't seasoned or seared, it was a little off for me. However! I started with a Sazerac, and this was probably the best Sazerac I ever had in my life! When I was in New Orleans, it was a much harsher cocktail. The Le Rivage Sazerac was softer, it was elegant mixed cocktail. My escargot was prepared the same as my cocktail, lots of garlic and breadcrumbs. I could have made this alone my meal. The bread brought to the table, I was dipping in the dimpled plate to sop up all that goodness. This was an enjoyable meal. Before or after the theater, Le Rivage is a great choice for dining and is close to all of the Broadway Theaters.

The place has old-time style and live jazz music. The staff was friendly; we did not have reservations and were seated promptly. I got my margarita with mezcal, which was great. The food was decent, i enjoyed the Caesar-like salad, and the dressing was on point. Escargot was nicely cooked! For the main course, I had osso bucca from the special menu; the meat was very tender and fragrant. I also tried their creme brûlée, which was a little off; I felt overcooked egg rather than the silky sweetness of blending ingredients. Otherwise, solid place.
